Having Trouble Logging In?

Use Proper Capitalization: Your login is case sensitive, it must be entered exactly as you entered it when you first joined. For example, if you selected "Drummer4678" as your username and tried entering "drummer4678" at the login prompt, it would fail. This is the number one cause of failed logins.

Haven't Received Your Confirmation Email: When you join, membership is not totally automatic, but takes between 24-48 hours for us to complete based on the information you give to us. You will receive an email detailing this procedure. Upon completion you are sent a confirmation email releasing you to the VIP Members Only Area. Your user name and password is now activated. If it has been over 48 hours and you have not received your confirmation email membership@hotfriends.com or please call 317.838.3050 and ask for Membership Support.

Forgotten Login Info: The confirmation email sent to you when you activated your membership contains your username and password. If you no longer have your confirmation, please send an email to membership@hotfriends.com. Please use the same email address as the one you gave when you signed up. If you aren't sure which email address you used, please include any possible alternate addresses. We cannot provide you with a login unless we have the original email address you used when you signed up. You will get a response within 24 hours.

Expired Account: One reason for a failed login may be that your account has expired (HotFriends Memberships do not automatically renew). If you suspect that this may be the case, please send an email to membership@hotfriends.com containing your old username. We will reply with instructions for renewing your account.

System Trouble: If you are certain your account is still active, and you know your username and password, then the problem may be a computer miss setting. Some PCs come with browsers set to anonymously and automatically log you in. This will cause your login to automatically fail when entering the members area. Here's what you can do to make sure Windows browser is set to log you in properly.

  • Go to your control panel and select "Internet Options".
  • Go to the tab for "Security".
  • Hit the button for "Custom Level" (A box will pop up with security options.)
  • Scroll down the list to where it says "User Authentication". Make sure it is not set to "Anonymous Logon" or "Automatic Logon".

If none of the above applies to you, please send an email to membership@hotfriends.com and we will do what we can to help.
